Fox Farm is a perennial
garden and lavender farm near the town
of Vashon, Washington. Just a 15 minute
ferry ride from
Seattle or
Tacoma! Planting started in
2000, and grounds are now lovely,
containing many different perennials,
annuals, deciduous and evergreen shrubs,
fruit trees, and a field of more than
700 lavender plants representing 7
different varieties! The gardens contain
other hard to find, interesting
cultivars of lavender.
Fox Farm is owned and gardened by
Cynthia Johnson, a retired Family Doctor
and keen gardener. In addition to
lavender, she loves growing and
propagating perennials of all sorts (the
more unusual the better!), growing cut
flowers and fruit trees and talking with
other gardeners and lavender fans!
Plants propagated here are available for
sale at the festival, during special
annual sales and by appointment. |
